HELP! Backpack Buddies Program
Our backpack buddies pantry has a desperate need!
We need to replenish and restock our shelves, especially canned vegetables!
Canned goods, individual fruit portions, breakfast items, juice and milk boxes, and snacks of all sorts are welcomed. This program supplies a weekend's worth of simple meals and snacks for those who need it. Individual serving sizes are especially helpful, but ALL donations are appreciated. Please help us keep our student friends fed! We would like to thank all who continue to and have generously supported this program throughout the school year. We couldn't do it without your help. Items can be sent in with your child or dropped off in the box in the main lobby. Thanks so much for your support!

Kelloggs and Scholastic Books are joining with Walmart to help teachers, students, and families get books.
A great deal for all of us during these tough economic times - parents/students/teachers alike!

In a nutshell at Walmart (only Walmart) there are Kellogg's products that are specially marked and then inside there are 16 digit codes you enter using the above site - 2 codes equal one free book! If you want to get the book for yourself (home library) you have to pay shipping & handling charges, but if you have the school do it and donate it to the teacher's class library then there is not a charge at all - completely FREE! Be careful not all packages are marked - check the package. For instance a family had 2 boxes of waffles in their freezer one was marked, one was not. The promotion goes thru the end of this school year. Help spread the word and have fun getting FREE BOOKS!
