WCPSS Board Policy 6414 specifically prohibits harassing or bullying behavior. The policy states that it is the priority of the Wake County Board of Education to provide every student and employee in the school system with a safe and orderly learning and working environment. All complaints of harassing or bullying behavior made by students shall be promptly and thoroughly investigated by the principal or designee. Violations of this policy shall be considered misconduct and will result in disciplinary action up to and including long-term suspension or expulsion in the case of students. First In Math

"First in Math" is an online resource to help increase computation, problem solving, critical thinking and essential math basics. The content and skills are presented in a fun, "game" format. Your child will need a User ID and password to access the site at home which will be sent home by homeroom teachers.

Study Island - Internet based program
We have a subscription for Study Island that can be accessed at home. It is a computerized program that can be used with students in grades 3-5 regardless of performance levels. Your child and you can practice passages to build persistance and stamina for the EOG tests. It is useful as independent practice of curricular goals that will be tested on EOG's. It is not to be used as general EOG preperation. Parents can use professional development tabs to view video clips for introduction to objectives, lessons, and background. This would also be a great tool for your child to access over the summer to practice skills.

Forest Pines Drive Elementary School is proud to announce that we have partnered with Online School Payments (OSP) to allow you to begin making payments with a Visa or Mastercard credit or debit card online, using a web browser from any location, 24 hours a day.
*Please note that there will be a 4% service charge to OSP for each transaction; for example, a $10 field trip will have a 40 cent service charge.
Once school starts, the following activities will be available to accept payments online: Field trips and other items as they arise, where the same fixed amount is charged for each student.
